Summary

Linuxカーネルのcryptoサブシステムにおいて、xilinxドライバーがfinalizeをBH（ボトムハーフ）を無効化しない状態で呼び出すことにより、crypto_finalize_requestの利用時に警告や予期しないコールトレースが発生する脆弱性が存在しました。この問題は、crypto_finalize_requestを呼び出す前にBHを正しく無効化する措置を講じることで解決され、カーネルの安定性が向上しました。

Possible impacts 当該ソフトウェアが扱う情報について、外部への漏えいは発生しません。 また、当該ソフトウェアが扱う情報について、書き換えは発生しません。 さらに、当該ソフトウェアが完全に停止する可能性があります。 そして、この脆弱性を悪用した攻撃の影響は、他のソフトウェアには及びません。

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

crypto: xilinx - call finalize with bh disabled

When calling crypto_finalize_request, BH should be disabled to avoid
