Juniper NetworksのJunos OSおよびJunos OS Evolvedのルーティングプロトコルデーモン(rpd)において、例外処理が不適切に取り扱われる脆弱性があります。この脆弱性により、ローカルの低権限攻撃者がCLIコマンドを実行してサービス拒否(DoS)を引き起こす可能性があります。asregex-optimizedが構成されている状態で特定の「show route as-path」CLIコマンドを実行すると、rpdがクラッシュして再起動します。このコマンドを繰り返し実行することで、持続的なDoS状態が発生します。この問題は以下のバージョンのJunos OSに影響します：すべての21.2R3-S9以前のバージョン、21.4の21.4R3-S10以前のバージョン、22.2の22.2R3-S6以前のバージョン、22.4の22.4R3-S6以前のバージョン、23.2の23.2R2-S3以前のバージョン、23.4の23.4R2-S4以前のバージョン、および24.2の24.2R2以前のバージョンです。また、Junos OS Evolvedのすべての21.2R3-S9-EVO以前のバージョン、21.4-EVOの21.4R3-S10-EVO以前のバージョン、22.2-EVOの22.2R3-S6-EVO以前のバージョン、22.4-EVOの22.4R3-S6-EVO以前のバージョン、23.2-EVOの23.2R2-S3-EVO以前のバージョン、23.4-EVOの23.4R2-S4-EVO以前のバージョン、および24.2-EVOの24.2R2-EVO以前のバージョンも影響を受けます。

Summary

An Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a local, low-privileged attacker executing a CLI command to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).

When asregex-optimized is configured and a specific "show route as-path" CLI command is executed, the rpd crashes and restarts. Repeated execution of this command will cause a sustained DoS condition.
This issue affects Junos OS:

* All versions before 21.2R3-S9,
* from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S10,
* from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S6,
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S6,
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S3,
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S4,
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2.

and Junos OS Evolved:
* All versions before 21.2R3-S9-EVO,
* from 21.4-EVO before 21.4R3-S10-EVO,
