Firebirdはオープンソースのリレーショナルデータベース管理システムです。クライアントライブラリのFB3バージョンでは、FB4以上のサーバーと通信する際にXSQLDAフィールドに誤ったデータ長の値を入れてしまい、その結果として情報漏洩が発生しました。この問題はFB4クライアント以上にアップグレードすることで修正されます。

| Summary |
Firebird is an open-source relational database management system. In versions FB3 of the client library placed incorrect data length values into XSQLDA fields when communicating with FB4 or higher servers, resulting in an information leak.
