Summary

Linuxカーネルにおいて、以下の脆弱性が修正されました。RDMA/irdmaに関して、free_qpの完了処理を使用する前に初期化する必要があります。irdma_create_qp関数内で、ib_copy_to_udataが失敗した場合にはクリーンアップのためにirdma_destroy_qpを呼び出しますが、その際にfree_qpの完了処理の完了を待機しようとします。しかし、free_qpの完了処理はまだ初期化されていませんでした。この問題は、ib_copy_to_udataの呼び出し前に完了処理を初期化することで修正されました。

Summary

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

RDMA/irdma: Initialize free_qp completion before using it

In irdma_create_qp, if ib_copy_to_udata fails, it will call
irdma_destroy_qp to clean up which will attempt to wait on
the free_qp completion, which is not initialized yet. Fix this
by initializing the completion before the ib_copy_to_udata call.
