Summary

Linuxカーネルにおいて、以下の脆弱性が修正されました。cifsのリプレイ時に初期化が不足している問題です。いくつかのコード箇所で、リプレイが必要な場合にリクエストの開始を示すラベルがあります。しかし、これらの箇所の一部では、リプレイ前に特定のローカル変数を再初期化する必要がありましたが、それが欠落していました。この変更により、これらの変数がラベルの後に正しく初期化されるようになりました。

Summary

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

cifs: some missing initializations on replay

In several places in the code, we have a label to signify
the start of the code where a request can be replayed if
necessary. However, some of these places were missing the
necessary reinitializations of certain local variables
before replay.

This change makes sure that these variables get initialized
after the label.
