vm2はNode.js用のオープンソースのVM/サンドボックスです。バージョン3.10.4には、任意のコード実行を伴う完全なサンドボックス脱出の脆弱性があります。VM.run()内の攻撃者のコードはホストプロセスのオブジェクトを取得し、ホストの協力なしにホストコマンドを実行します。この問題はバージョン3.10.5で修正されました。

| Summary |
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. In version 3.10.4, vm2 is vulnerable to full sandbox escape with arbitrary code execution. Attacker code inside VM.run() obtains host process object and runs host commands with zero host cooperation. This issue has been patched in version 3.10.5.
