Summary

Linuxカーネルにおいて、以下の脆弱性が修正されました。net: ncsiにおけるエラーパスでのskbリークを修正しました。NCSIのRXおよびAENハンドラは、早期リターンパスで受信したskbを解放せずに終了していたため、メモリリークが発生していました。具体的には、ncsi_aen_handler()が無効なAENパケットでskbを消費せずに戻り、同様にncsi_rcv_rsp()はNCSIデバイス、レスポンスハンドラ、またはリクエストの解決に失敗した際に早期終了し、skbを解放しませんでした。

Summary

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: ncsi: fix skb leak in error paths

Early return paths in NCSI RX and AEN handlers fail to release
the received skb, resulting in a memory leak.

Specifically, ncsi_aen_handler() returns on invalid AEN packets
without consuming the skb. Similarly, ncsi_rcv_rsp() exits early
when failing to resolve the NCSI device, response handler, or
request, leaving the skb unfreed.
