binutilsに脆弱性が発見されました。リンク処理中に特別に細工されたXCOFF（Extended Common Object File Format）オブジェクトファイルを処理する際にヒープバッファオーバーフローの脆弱性が存在します。ローカルの攻撃者がユーザーを騙してこの悪意のあるファイルを処理させることで、任意のコードを実行でき、攻撃者が不正なコマンドを実行したり、サービス拒否（DoS）攻撃を引き起こしてシステムを利用不能にする可能性があります。

| Summary |
A flaw was found in binutils. A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists when processing a specially crafted XCOFF (Extended Common Object File Format) object file during linking. A local attacker could trick a user into processing this malicious file, which could lead to arbitrary code execution, allowing the attacker to run unauthorized commands, or cause a denial of service, making the system unavailable.
