Summary

Linuxカーネルにおいて、以下の脆弱性が修正されました。drm/amdgpuのamdgpu_acpi_enumerate_xcc()関数にメモリリークがあったため、その修正を行いました。具体的には、amdgpu_acpi_enumerate_xcc()内でamdgpu_acpi_dev_init()が-ENOMEMを返した場合に、割り当てられたxcc_infoが解放されずに関数が直接終了してメモリリークが発生していました。エラーパスでxcc_infoが適切に解放されるように修正しました。コンパイルテストのみが実施され、問題はプロトタイプの静的解析ツールおよびコードレビューによって発見されました。

Summary

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

drm/amdgpu: Fix memory leak in amdgpu_acpi_enumerate_xcc()

In amdgpu_acpi_enumerate_xcc(), if amdgpu_acpi_dev_init() returns -ENOMEM,
the function returns directly without releasing the allocated xcc_info,
resulting in a memory leak.

Fix this by ensuring that xcc_info is properly freed in the error paths.

Compile tested only. Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool
and code review.
