Snipe-ITはIT資産およびライセンス管理システムです。バージョン8.6.0以前では、users.edit権限のみを持つユーザーが自身のIDに対して/api/v1/users/{their_own_id}へPATCHリクエストを送信すると、adminおよびsuperuserを除く任意の権限（例えば assets.view、assets.create、reports.view、importなど）を自分に付与できました。この問題はバージョン8.6.0で修正されました。

| Summary |
Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. In versions prior to 8.6.0, a user with only users.edit can send a PATCH to /api/v1/users/{their_own_id} and grant themselves any permission except admin and superuser — for example `assets.view`, `assets.create`, `reports.view`, import, etc. The issue is patched in version 8.6.0.
