Summary

Netscape Communicator and Navigator 4.04 through 4.74 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by using a Java applet to open a connection to a URL using the "file", "http", "https", and "ftp" protocols, as demonstrated by Brown Orifice.

Summary

Netscape CommunicatorおよびNavigatorのバージョン4.04から4.74までには、リモートの攻撃者がJavaアプレットを使用して「file」、「http」、「https」、「ftp」プロトコルを使ったURLへの接続を開くことで任意のファイルを読み取ることが可能な脆弱性があります。この問題はBrown Orificeによって実証されました。
